We have immediate need for a Floating Support Coordinator (Winter Surge) working within our Intensive Services Department. This position is full-time (35 hours per week)

Location: King’s Court, Bristol

Salary: £37,478

Contract: 1-year fixed term until end of September 2027

Job Description

Job Title:                   Floating Support Coordinator (Winter Surge)

Responsible to:           Intensive Services Manager

Role Purpose

Ara is a housing and support provider with extensive experience of housing and supporting individuals within housing across the Bristol area.

We are seeking motivated and compassionate Floating Support Coordinator to oversee the work of the Floating Support Practitioners (Winter Surge) who will be supporting individuals accommodated in temporary housing to maintain accommodation, improve wellbeing, access relevant services, and move towards sustainable housing solutions.

Some key tasks within the role will include:

• Overseeing all referrals and placements into the service.
• Liaison with Bristol City Council, Outreach Services and the Housing providers.
• Line management of the Floating Support Team
• This role includes weekend working

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience managing high-performance teams and developing team behaviours, attitudes and skills to ensure the team performs at their best.
• Be self-motivated, driven and capable of managing their own workload.
• Knowledge of the Housing Support Register
