Gambling harms are hiding in plain sight

Today’s young people are growing up in a world where gambling is everywhere. From loot boxes in video games and betting ads on social media, to sponsorship deals woven into the sports they love.

Gambling has become a normal part of everyday life for many young people, often without them even realising it.”

Without the right awareness and support, these early exposures can lead to harmful gambling behaviours later in life. That’s why early education matters.

The hidden risks young people face
