Gambling Symposium
On the 24th November, Ara are to hold a gambling symposium. This will be a virtual conversation about problem gambling, mental health, and COVID-19 in Bristol and the West. This forum will allow:
- co-operation between professionals
- the sharing of skills, ideas, and resources
- discussion of the best way of meeting the growing challenges of gambling harms
- issues around mental health
- ways to navigate the current, challenging UK landscape.

Safer Gambling Week
During Safer Gambling Week (19th-24th Nov), Ara Gambling Service is running a series of activities to highlight the damage that harmful gambling can cause. Importantly, these issues do not just affect gamblers but also loved ones affected by someone else’s gambling.
